Have you been looking to boost your creativity or improve your shooting and editing skills? If so you're in just the right place! Whether you're a beginner or pro, you are welcome to join me for an private 1-on-1 full day intensive workshop in New York City. I'd love to take you into my imagination through a personal day of creating and exploring the possibilities of camera and Photoshop techniques.

This workshop experience will cover a 6 hour time frame. It will be arranged to take place in a studio with a lot of natural light and office station. The workshop includes hands-on shoot with a model and set design, I will develop a concept and prepare props and costumes. Second part is editing time where I'll show you my editing workflow, teach you my Photoshop skills and techniques.

Workshop program:

PART 1. Inspiration, conceptualization, idea development

  • searching for ideas and inspiration;

  • how to find or build props;

  • image developing and realization: drawing sketches and creating mood boards;

  • power of set design for creating fine art composites;

PART 2. Shooting with a model, MUA, set design, props and costumes

  • gear overview, lightning equipment choice depending on location and weather conditions;

  • working with model;

  • special effects and different shooting techniques;

  • demo and hands-on shoot with a model and set design;

PART 3. Postproduction and practical part. Editing a photo from the shooting part

  • role of retouching and postproduction as an artistic tool for an artist;

  • working with material from demo shooting, how to find the right image;

  • raw-files processing in Adobe Lightroom; basics of color theory and color correction

  • exporting files and editing in Adobe Photoshop: compositing basics, retouching, cleaning the image from artifacts and unwanted objects, warping, transformation, liquify, special effects, etc.

  • student work analysis and critique.
